Golf Summer Camp
It all begins with an idea.
The Summer of 2020 stared at with the end of our 10 plus week statewide shelter in place order. I usually try to plan her summer activities at the end of February, but no later than the middle of March, I know that may seem early, but all of the right camps and critical word here time slots fill up FAST !! This year with COVID-19, many of the fields closed, and then there was a lot of personal in trepidation about whether or not I should let her attend anything of should we spend the summer on our back porch and with family and trusted friends. After pouring over millions of articles and CDC reports, consulting friends in the medical field, and accepting the fact that my child is an EXTROVERT, I decided that golf would be the perfect activity. It’s outsides, no contact, and you bring your own gear meaning there is absolutely NO REASON for the kids to be all up on each other and touching things that are not there is. I decided to interview Monty after her first day of camp ( this is how this blog will be btw, she is only 6, I will talk to her and provide as unedited of an answer as I can) and share her first impressions.
